Built-in loyalty

Reward repeat customers with loyalty built into Ordering.co.

Reward repeat customers with loyalty points, a cash wallet, and loyalty levels built into Ordering.co, managed in the Dashboard and used by customers on your own website and apps.

Loyalty built into your ordering channels

Ordering Loyalty is not a separate tool bolted onto your store. It is part of Ordering.co, so your rewards live where your customers already order:

  • More products and features. More than 20 products and more than 1,500 features across websites, apps, marketplaces, kiosks, call centers, loyalty, and delivery.
  • Your own branded channels. Customers earn and redeem on your website and apps, under your brand.
  • Your design, not a template. Build the experience with your own custom design, with help from our team.
  • Built to extend. Connect your own tools through APIs and MCP, with application source code available on eligible plans.

Why use Ordering Loyalty with Ordering.co

  • One system to run. Menus, orders, customers, and rewards are managed in the same Dashboard.
  • Rewards tied to real orders. Points are earned on the order subtotal of orders placed with participating businesses.
  • Rules per business. Decide which businesses take part and where customers can earn or redeem.
  • A reason to come back. Loyalty levels give your best customers a goal and a status to reach.

What Ordering Loyalty brings

  • Loyalty points. Set what customers earn on the order subtotal and what points are worth at checkout, with an optional maximum and expiration for each business.
  • Cash wallet. Give customers a wallet balance for rewards, promotional credits, or refunds on canceled orders, and let them use it at checkout.
  • Loyalty levels. Create levels with a name, an image, an accumulation rate, the points required, a maximum, and an expiration.
  • Customer wallet management. Add or reduce a customer’s points or wallet money from their record, with a full transaction history.
  • Customer views. Customers see their Cash wallet and Loyalty points balances, activity, and level on your website.

How it works

  1. You set point values and choose the businesses that take part in the program.
  2. A customer signs in and orders from a participating business on your website or app.
  3. When your team completes the order, points are added to the customer’s loyalty balance.
  4. On a later order, the customer uses points or cash wallet credit at checkout for all or part of the total, and pays the rest with another method.
  5. The customer reviews balances, activity, and level in their account, and your team can see the same history in the Dashboard.

Set up and go live

The Ordering.co points wallet and levels guide walks through each step:

  1. Make sure the points-and-levels add-on is enabled for your project and that you have administrator access.
  2. In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Addons > Points wallet and levels and select Points wallet.
  3. On the General tab, set Points redemption and Points accumulation, choose whether canceled orders refund to points, and save.
  4. On the Businesses tab, turn on Status, Redeem, and Accumulation for each participating business, and set a maximum or expiration where you need one.
  5. Open Levels, select Add new level, and create the levels for your program.
  6. To offer a cash wallet as well, enable the cash wallet add-on and choose it as a refund destination in Settings > Refund Settings if your refund policy uses it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Is Ordering Loyalty a separate app I need to connect?

No. Ordering Loyalty is part of Ordering.co. You enable it as an add-on and manage it in the same Dashboard you use for stores, menus, and orders, so there is no separate loyalty system or customer list to keep in step.

What can I reward customers with?

Loyalty points, a cash wallet, and loyalty levels. Points and cash wallet credits are separate balances, each with its own settings and activity history.

How do customers earn and use points?

Points are awarded on completed orders placed with participating businesses. At checkout, customers can use points for all or part of an order when the business allows redemption, and pay any remaining amount with another payment method.

Can each business have its own rules?

Yes. You choose which businesses take part and whether each one lets customers earn points, redeem them, or both. Each business can have its own point values, a maximum number of points, and an expiration in days.

Where do customers see their balance?

Signed-in customers can open Cash wallet and Loyalty points on your website to see their balance, their activity, and their loyalty level. In the customer app, cash wallet and loyalty points appear at checkout.

Can my team adjust a customer's balance?

Yes. From the customer's record in the Dashboard, your team can add or reduce points or wallet money with a comment, and review the full transaction history.

Can I build on top of Ordering Loyalty?

Yes. Loyalty plans and loyalty levels are available through the Ordering.co API, so your team can connect them to your own tools. Application source code is also available on eligible plans.
