Price every product exactly how you need to.
Set a selling price with an optional discounted price and ribbon, layer markup rules by business, site, or delivery type, price products by weight, and keep cost data in the dashboard.
Product pricing
What you can do
Price and regular price
Set a Price and a higher Regular price to show customers a discount.
Sale ribbon
Add a ribbon with your own text and color to a discounted product’s image.
Price markups
Add a percentage or fixed markup to product prices, platform-wide or scoped to a business, site, or delivery type.
Markup rounding
Round a price with markup up to an ending such as .50 or .99.
Weight-based pricing
Show a product’s price by weight with the Show price by weight switch.
Product cost
Record a product’s cost as internal reference data, kept separate from its selling price.
Dashboard, website, and apps
A regular price and a sale price.
Set a selling price alongside a higher reference price, and add a ribbon so customers notice the discount on the product image.
- Set Price as the selling amount and Regular price as the higher reference amount
- Add an optional Ribbon with its own text and color next to the product image
- Both fields live in the product’s Information tab
- Review the discount in your own storefront or app before relying on it
Dashboard
One markup rule, several scopes.
A markup rule adds an amount to a product’s price. Scope it as broadly or as narrowly as your pricing policy needs, and the most specific enabled rule applies.
- Scope a rule to all businesses, a single business, a site, or a delivery type
- Choose a Percentage or a Fixed markup type and enter its value
- Apply the markup to suboptions too, with the same value or a separate one
- Round the marked-up price up to an ending such as .50 or .99
- Enable, disable, or delete a rule; the base price stays in the product’s own settings
How it works
From setup to the next order.
- 01Set the product’s price
Enter Price, and Regular price if the product is on sale, from the product’s Information tab.
- 02Add a markup rule where you need one
Choose the business, site, or delivery type scope, the markup type and value, and any rounding.
- 03Review before customers see it
Confirm the price, ribbon, and markup result in your own storefront or app.
Good to know
- Product cost is internal reference data, kept in the dashboard separately from the price customers see.
- A markup rule’s business, site, and delivery type scope is fixed once you save it; create a new rule for a different scope.
