Menus and catalog

Give every product its full detail sheet.

Add images and video, describe ingredients, record servings and calories, set a ribbon and labels, and keep internal notes in custom fields, all from the product panel in the Ordering.co dashboard.

What you can do

  • Product images and gallery

Add more than one image to a product, one at a time or in batch, so customers see it from different angles before they order.

  • Product video

Add a video link to a product’s video panel.

  • Featured products

Pin selected products to the top of the list with the Featured switch.

  • Ribbon

Highlight a product with a ribbon in your own text, color, and shape.

  • Labels

Organize products with labels you search, select, or add from the product panel.

  • Product details

Record estimated servings, calories, a SKU, an external ID, and an alcohol flag for each product.

  • Ingredients and properties

List the ingredients or properties that describe a product, separate from the options customers choose.

  • Custom fields

Store internal Text, Number, or Boolean metadata on a product, such as integration codes or preparation times, kept in the dashboard.

Dashboard

Every product detail in one screen.

The product’s Advanced tab brings together the reference details your catalog needs, beyond the name, price, and description.

  • Estimated person records how many people a serving is meant for
  • Calories for nutritional information
  • SKU, the product’s stock-keeping identifier
  • External Id for your own reference or integration
  • An Is Alcohol flag

Dashboard

Describe what makes up a product.

Ingredients / Properties records the components of a product, such as a pizza’s pepperoni, mushrooms, and extra cheese. It is a descriptive entry, not the customer-choice configuration surface.

  • Add named ingredients or properties from the product panel
  • Descriptive only: customers do not select or remove them here
  • For order-time choices customers pick, use product options and modifiers instead
  • Useful for food and beverage, beauty, or custom-made products that need to describe their components

Dashboard, website, and apps

A ribbon and labels for the products you want noticed.

Set a ribbon on the product’s image, and use labels to organize products in the editor.

  • Set the ribbon’s text, color, and shape from the product’s Information tab
  • Use a ribbon to highlight a sale, a new arrival, or anything you want customers to notice on the product image
  • Labels tab: search, select all, select none, or add a new label
  • Confirm how labels filter, group, or promote products in your own project

Dashboard

Internal metadata your team needs, kept with the product.

Custom fields store key/value data for your own team, separate from the information customers see.

  • Choose a Text, Number, or Boolean field type
  • Enter a Key and a Value
  • Use it for internal notes, integration codes, tags, external IDs, or preparation times
  • Metadata only: confirm what is customer-facing in your own project before entering sensitive information

How it works

From setup to the next order.

  1. 01Open a product

From the store’s category list, open the product and select Product details.

  2. 02Fill in the details that matter

Record servings, calories, SKU, external ID, alcohol flag, ingredients or properties, and any custom fields your team needs.

  3. 03Add media and highlights

Add images and video, set a ribbon and labels, and turn on Featured where it fits.

Good to know

  • Custom fields store internal or technical metadata for your own team; they are not customer-facing content by default.
  • Visible fields can vary by product type and project configuration.
