Stores and locations

Run every country and city on one platform.

Add the countries and cities you serve, give each country its own number format, currency display, distance unit, and Stripe payment currency, and use country domains to send customers to the right site automatically.

Multi-country platform

What you can do

  • The countries you operate in

Add each country by name, with an optional country code, from Settings > Countries/Cities.

  • Every city you serve

Add the cities you serve under each country, with no limit on how many.

  • Turn a market on or off

Enable or disable any country or city with one switch as you open or leave a market.

  • Formats by country

Choose a country and set its decimal and thousands separators, currency symbol and position, and distance unit.

  • A Stripe currency per country

Set the currency Stripe payments use in each country.

  • Country domains

Country domains can send each customer to the right site automatically.

  • City managers

Assign an administrator to a city, and find City managers as their own role in user lists.

  • Operations by location

Filter orders by country, city, and currency, filter stores by city, and export orders with the same filters.

Dashboard

The countries and cities you serve, in one list

Countries/Cities in the Dashboard settings keeps every market you operate in, with each city under its country. Add a location when you expand, and turn it off when you stop serving it, without reconfiguring the platform.

  • Separate Countries and Cities views, with search by name
  • Add a country by name, with an optional country code
  • Add a city with its name and the country it belongs to
  • Optionally assign an administrator to a city when you create it
  • Turn any country or city on or off with its Enable switch
  • Delete a country or city you no longer serve
  • Add as many cities as your operation needs
  • Customers choose from the countries and cities you turn on when they enter an address

Dashboard

Local formats and a payment currency for each country

Multi-country settings let you choose a country and override the settings that can vary by country, so each market sees amounts and distances written the way it expects. Settings you do not override for a country keep their platform-wide value from Localization and regional settings.

  • Choose the country first, then review the settings available for it
  • Decimal and thousands separators
  • Currency symbol, and whether it shows before or after the amount
  • Distances in kilometers or miles
  • The currency Stripe payments use in that country
  • Only settings that can vary by country appear in the list
  • Each field saves as you change it

Dashboard and Driver App

See each market's operation on its own

Once your countries and cities are in place, the Dashboard and the Driver App can narrow the day's work to one market, so a team responsible for a city or a country sees the orders, stores, and carts that belong to it.

  • Filter orders by country, city, and currency
  • Filter the store list by city
  • Export orders filtered by country, city, or currency
  • Search open carts by city
  • Drivers filter their orders by city in the Driver App
  • City managers appear as their own role in user lists and filters

How it works

Open a new market.

  1. 01Add the country and its cities

In Settings > Countries/Cities, add the country, add the cities under it, and turn on the ones you serve.

  2. 02Set the country's formats

In Multi-country settings, choose the country and set its separators, currency symbol and position, distance unit, and Stripe currency.

  3. 03Check what customers see

Place a test order in the new market to confirm that prices, distances, and payment appear as intended.

Good to know

  • Country settings change how amounts and distances are shown and which currency Stripe payments use. They do not change the prices in your menus.
  • The currencies you can accept depend on your Stripe account.
  • Countries and cities shape addresses and service coverage, so review the impact before you turn a location off or delete it.
