How a delivery moves
- When the order reaches the trigger you chose, Ordering.co creates it in Shipday with the pickup and drop-off details.
- Your team or Shipday’s automatic assignment gives the order to a driver.
- When the order is marked ready in Ordering.co, Shipday is told it is ready for pickup.
- Shipday sends status updates as the driver is assigned, heads out, picks up, arrives, and delivers, and the tracking link is saved on the order.
- If the order is canceled in Ordering.co, it is removed from Shipday.
Set up and go live
The Ordering.co Shipday setup guide walks through each step:
- In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Settings > Developers > Plugins and add the Shipday plugin.
- In Shipday, copy the API key from Direct integrations. In Ordering.co, open Plugin settings, select the Shipday integration, enter the API key, and create a webhook token of up to 32 characters.
- In Shipday’s Webhook Setup, add the API link for your project and enter exactly the same webhook token.
- Open Connect > Delivery services, find Shipday Delivery Integration, and set its driver group, assignment trigger, businesses, schedule, payment methods, and delivery zones.
- Place a test order, confirm it reaches Shipday and updates in Ordering.co, then enable the service for customers.

- 01Add the Shipday plugin and API key
Install the Shipday plugin in the Ordering.co Dashboard, then enter the API key from Shipday's Direct integrations settings and create a webhook token.

In Shipday's Webhook Setup, add the API link for your project and the same webhook token, so every status change comes back to Ordering.co.
- 03Configure the delivery service
Choose the businesses, schedule, payment methods, delivery zones, and assignment trigger, then run a test order before going live.

Is Shipday a courier company?
No. Shipday is delivery management software. You use it to dispatch orders to your own drivers, and Shipday accounts in the United States can also send deliveries to third-party delivery services through Shipday.
When is an order sent to Shipday?
At the trigger you choose in the delivery service settings, such as when the business accepts the order. Ordering.co sends the customer, drop-off address, store, items, totals, delivery fee, tip, payment method, delivery instructions, and expected pickup and delivery times.
How are drivers assigned?
In Shipday, by your team or with Shipday's automatic assignment. When a driver is assigned, starts, picks up, arrives, and delivers, the order status updates in Ordering.co. If a driver is unassigned, the order goes back to looking for a driver.
What does the customer see after ordering?
The order status follows the delivery, and Shipday's tracking link is saved on the order.
What happens if an order is canceled?
Canceling the order in Ordering.co removes it from Shipday.
Can I combine Shipday with other delivery options?
Yes. Shipday works alongside other delivery companies and your in-house drivers, so each store can use the delivery option that fits it.
