The Ordering Driver App is Ordering.co’s own app for in-house drivers. Orders from your channels reach your drivers the same way they reach a delivery company, and you run both from one place:

• Your own channels. Branded websites, apps, and kiosks where customers order from you directly.
• More products and features. More than 20 products and more than 1,500 features across ordering, loyalty, marketplaces, call centers, and delivery.
• One delivery operation. Put your in-house drivers and delivery companies in delivery groups, and assign orders automatically.
• Built to extend. APIs and MCP, with application source code available on eligible plans.

Why use the Ordering Driver App

• You control the fleet. Create, enable, and group your drivers in the Dashboard, and set who manages each group.
• Assignment on your rules. Assign by hand from the Orders list, or let a delivery group assign automatically once the store accepts the order or finishes preparing it.
• Organized by store and area. Each delivery group covers the stores you pick, with its own priority, delivery zones, and payment methods.
• Grouped orders. Combine eligible orders for one driver within the limits you set.

What the app gives your drivers

• Orders by status. Pending, in progress, completed, and canceled.
• Accept or reject. Review each delivery request before taking it.
• Map and navigation. See the store and customer on a map, then open the route in another maps app.
• Order chat and contact. Message about an order and reach the store or customer.
• Pickup and drop-off steps. Mark arrival at the store, report pickup problems, and complete the delivery.
• Availability. Drivers set whether they can receive orders from their profile.

How a delivery moves

1. A customer places a delivery order on your Ordering.co website, app, or kiosk.
2. The order is assigned to one of your drivers, by hand from the Orders list or automatically by the delivery group.
3. The driver accepts the request in the app, picks up the order at your store, and takes it to the customer.
4. The driver completes the delivery in the app, and the order moves to Completed.

Set up and go live

The Set up Driver App operations guide walks through each step:

1. In the Dashboard, open Delivery > Drivers, select Add New Driver, and enable the account.
2. Open Delivery > Delivery Groups and create a group of In-house drivers. Choose its drivers, stores, priority, and payment methods.
3. Optionally, add a Driver Manager and turn on Advanced logistics for automatic assignment and grouped orders.
4. Drivers install the app from Google Play or the App Store and sign in with the credentials you created.
5. Assign a test order, follow it to completion, then go live.
