Analytics integration
Manage your website tags from Google Tag Manager.
Add your Google Tag Manager container to your Ordering.co website and manage marketing and analytics tags from Tag Manager.
Your own ordering channel, with your own tags
Google Tag Manager helps you manage the tools on your website. Ordering.co gives you the ordering website to manage them on:
- More products and features. More than 20 products and more than 1,500 features across websites, apps, kiosks, call centers, loyalty, and delivery.
- Your brand, your data. Your own branded ordering channels, with a custom design built with help from our team.
- Built to extend. Connect your own tools through APIs and MCP, with application source code available on eligible plans.
Why use Google Tag Manager with Ordering.co
- Your tags, your schedule. Add, update, and publish marketing and analytics tags from Tag Manager.
- One setup step. Paste the container code into your website header once.
- Consent first. With cookie consent enabled, the container loads only after the customer accepts.
- Works with the built-in integrations. Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel keep sending their commerce events from the Dashboard settings.

Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Where do I add the Tag Manager container?
In the Ordering.co Builder, open Settings, then the THIRD-PARTY tab, and paste the container code into Code on head. Select UPDATE, then open Build and select Build website so your storefront receives the new header.
Do I need to rebuild the website every time I change a tag?
No. You rebuild once to add the container. After that, tags you publish in Tag Manager run on your website without another build.
Does Tag Manager respect my cookie banner?
Yes. When cookie consent is enabled on your website, the code in your website header, including the Tag Manager container, loads only after the customer accepts cookies.
Should I use Tag Manager or the Google Analytics ID field?
For Google Analytics 4, the Measurement ID field in the Ordering.co Dashboard already sends page views, product clicks, add-to-cart events, and purchases. Use Tag Manager for other tags. If you keep the GA4 ID in the Dashboard, do not add a second GA4 tag with the same ID in Tag Manager, or events will be counted twice.
Can I load Meta Pixel through Tag Manager?
You can, but you do not need to. Ordering.co loads Meta Pixel from the Pixel ID you save in the Dashboard, with its commerce events already set up.
