Administration and security

Give every account the access its role needs.

Six Dashboard roles — Administrator, City manager, Business owner, User, Professional, and Call center agent — reach only the areas built for their job. Add as many team members and customers as you need, and manage every administrator and call center agent account from the Dashboard.

User roles and permissions

What you can do

  • Roles built for each job

Administrator, City manager, Business owner, User, Professional, and Call center agent roles match Dashboard access to what each person does.

  • Administrator-only account management

Only administrators reach the Customers, Business owners, Call center agents, and Admins pages, where accounts and roles are managed.

  • Administrator accounts

Create an administrator with a photo, name, email, phone number, and password, then update the same profile later.

  • Search, filter, and export

Search the administrator list, filter it by active state, and export it to CSV.

  • Separate call center agent accounts

Give phone-order agents their own account, kept apart from administrator accounts.

  • Stores assigned to each agent

Assign the stores a call center agent can work with from their profile's Businesses tab.

Dashboard

Six roles, each reaching its own areas

Every account in the Dashboard uses one of six roles, and each role reaches only the areas built for it.

  • Administrator: reaches the administrator-only pages, including Customers, Business owners, Call center agents, and Admins, plus most configuration, marketing, product, and support areas.
  • City manager: appears in the shared user lists and filters used across the Dashboard.
  • Business owner: reaches Profile and the operational areas for running stores, such as Orders, Deliveries, Stores, Appointments, and Messages.
  • User: the role used by customers.
  • Professional: opens directly to Profile, the role for the professionals who take appointments.
  • Call center agent: the role for phone-order agents, with their own profile and business assignments.
  • Only administrators reach the Customers, Business owners, Call center agents, and Admins pages, where accounts and roles are managed.

Dashboard

A full profile for every administrator

Administrators are created and managed from the same list, with the details and controls an account needs.

  • Create an administrator with a photo, first name, last name, email, phone number, and password.
  • Search the list by identity or contact details, and filter it by active state.
  • Export the administrator list to CSV.
  • Each profile keeps its verification status and custom fields.
  • Open Profile, Saved places, and Orders from an administrator's detail view.
  • Turn an administrator's account on or off without deleting it.

Dashboard

Accounts built for phone orders

Call center agents get their own account, separate from administrators, with the store access their work needs. Agents take orders in Ordering Call Center.

  • Create a call center agent account with its own profile and credentials.
  • Assign the stores an agent can work with from the Businesses tab.
  • Keep the agent's saved places and order history with their profile.

How it works

From setup to the next order.

  1. 01Choose the role

Decide which of the six Dashboard roles fits the person you are adding: Administrator, City manager, Business owner, User, Professional, or Call center agent.

  2. 02Create the account

An administrator creates the new account with a photo, name, email, phone number, and password.

  3. 03Manage it from the list

Search, filter, and export the list, and turn an account on or off without deleting it.

Good to know

  • Password changes can close an account's other open sessions.
  • Dashboard page access is one part of the picture; some actions depend on additional account and project settings.
