Stores and locations

Run every store, brand, and location from one dashboard.

Choose whether the website and app open as a marketplace, a single store, or a franchise, give each store or brand its own channels, and scope a call center agent to one brand.

Multi-store management

What you can do

  • Multi-store management

Run many stores and locations from one dashboard, with the same tools for every store you add.

  • Owners register additional businesses

A Security setting lets eligible business-owner accounts register additional businesses on their own, instead of waiting on an administrator.

  • Marketplace, single-store, and franchise modes

The website and app can open as a marketplace, a single store, or a franchise that routes customers to a participating location.

  • Change store across locations

A franchise experience can offer Change store, so customers return to the location choice the website provides.

  • Channels per store or brand

Give individual stores or franchise brands their own website and app channels: the Franchise website theme sets its own domain, images, colors, and homepage and footer content, without ordering widgets.

  • Call center by brand

Assign a franchise identifier to a brand and its stores, so an agent assigned to that brand sees only its orders and customers.

Dashboard

Owners register their own additional businesses

A Security setting, Allow Business Owner to Register Additional Businesses, lets eligible owner accounts add a new business themselves, without an administrator creating it for them.

  • Turn the setting on from Security settings so business owners can register another business from their own account
  • Separate from giving one owner access to several existing stores, which Multi-business ownership covers
  • Saves your team from creating every new business by hand

Customer website, Customer app

Marketplace, single-store, and franchise modes

The website and app can open as a marketplace, a single store, or a franchise that routes customers to a participating location, depending on how you set it up.

  • Marketplace mode shows the businesses available for the customer's current location and order context, and the customer picks one to continue
  • Single-store mode opens directly to one configured business, skipping the business list
  • Franchise mode uses the customer's ordering context to open a participating location automatically
  • A store switcher lets customers use Change store to return to the location choice the website provides
  • The customer app has matching experience scopes: marketplace, franchise, and single business
  • A kiosk-oriented Home can keep customers on an order-focused Home with a location and search entry instead of opening a store automatically

Dashboard, Customer website

A franchise website for multi-location brands

Choose the Franchise theme for a business with multiple locations, and give individual stores or franchise brands their own website and app channels.

  • The shared editor provides Basic Settings and Advanced Settings; Ordering Widgets are excluded in franchise mode
  • Basic Settings include the business name, description, a custom domain, images, theme colors, and homepage and footer content
  • Advanced Settings add further presentation controls such as favicon and button styling
  • Each store or franchise brand keeps its own channels; Brand manager organizes the brands and the stores that belong to each one

Call center, Dashboard

Scope the call center to one brand

A brand record, its stores, and a franchise identifier link together so an agent assigned to that brand sees only that brand's orders and customers.

  • Open Stores > Brands and assign the stores that belong to a brand
  • Enter the franchise identifier in the configuration surface set up for it
  • An agent assigned to a brand sees only the orders and customers for that brand's stores
  • An export can be configured with a brand scope, a time range, and access controls

How it works

From setup to the next order.

  1. 01Choose the operating model

Pick Marketplace, Single Store, or Franchise as the website theme for your operation.

  2. 02Connect the brand and its stores

Assign stores to a brand, and turn on additional business registration for the owners who need it.

  3. 03Scope channels and the call center

Give each store or franchise brand its own channels, and scope a call center agent to one brand.

Good to know

  • Stores in a marketplace can share one delivery zone instead of drawing a separate one for each store.
  • Registering additional businesses is a setting your team turns on; it does not replace giving one owner access to several existing stores.
