Set up and go live
The Ordering.co Stripe Checkout setup guide walks through every step:
- In the Stripe Dashboard, open API keys under Developers, confirm whether you are viewing the test or live environment, and copy the matching publishable and secret keys.
- In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open the business’s payment-method settings and select the Stripe Checkout configuration.
- Enter the matching publishable and secret keys for that environment, then save.
- Open the business’s customer checkout, select Stripe Checkout, and complete a test payment before switching to live keys.
- When the business’s Stripe account is ready, switch the configuration to live keys.

Which payment methods appear on the Stripe page?
Stripe Checkout can show credit and debit cards, plus wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay and other methods the business enables in its own Stripe account. What each customer sees depends on the business's Stripe account, country, currency, and device. If you want another method Stripe supports, talk to us first so we can confirm it works in your checkout.
When is the order confirmed?
Only after Stripe reports the Checkout session as paid. If the customer leaves the Stripe page before returning, or the session is still open, Ordering.co asks them to try again or choose another payment method.
Does each business use its own Stripe account?
Yes. Stripe Checkout is configured with its own publishable and secret keys for each business, and test or live mode is set per business.
What currency are customers charged in?
The same currency configured for the standard Stripe integration: one setting for the whole project, not per business.
In which countries can I use Stripe Checkout?
