Order status updates in LimeTray and Ordering.co at the same time.

LimeTray runs the counter. Ordering.co runs online ordering.

LimeTray’s focus is the point of sale and daily restaurant operations. Ordering.co is focused on online ordering, so you keep LimeTray where it is strongest and get a much more powerful ordering operation online:

  • More products and features. More than 20 products and more than 1,500 features across websites, apps, marketplaces, kiosks, call centers, loyalty, and delivery.
  • Your design, not a template. Build an ordering experience with your own custom design, and our team helps you customize it.
  • Built to extend. Connect your own tools through APIs and MCP, with application source code available on eligible plans.
  • Delivery included. Auto-assign delivery companies or your in-house drivers, with order status kept in step with LimeTray.

Why use LimeTray with Ordering.co

  • One menu to maintain. Update categories, products, variants, and add-ons in LimeTray and they reach your online store instead of editing two menus.
  • Orders land where your team already works. Online orders arrive in LimeTray with no manual re-entry, for delivery, takeaway, and dine-in.
  • Status stays in step both ways. Changes made in LimeTray update the order in Ordering.co, and changes made in Ordering.co are sent to LimeTray.
  • Availability stays aligned. Stock updates switch items on or off online, and outlets switched off in LimeTray stop taking online orders.

What LimeTray brings

LimeTray describes its point of sale on LimeTray Restaurant POS:

  • Billing and order management, including printing kitchen order tickets and receipts and tracking orders.
  • Inventory that tracks stock consumption and recipes.
  • Reports and multi-outlet control from a central dashboard, with user access by franchise and performance comparison across outlets.

How orders move between Ordering.co and LimeTray

  1. The customer orders on your website or app, with variants and add-ons, and confirms at checkout.
  2. The order is sent to the linked LimeTray outlet as a delivery, takeaway, or dine-in order.
  3. Staff work the order in LimeTray. Changes such as Accepted, Prepared, and Dispatched are sent back to Ordering.co.
  4. When the order is delivered or picked up, the customer’s order shows it as completed. If the outlet declines or cancels the order, the reason is kept on the order in Ordering.co.
