Ordering.co automation

Accept new orders without touching a screen.

Accept new orders automatically in Ordering.co, so your team can skip the repetitive first review and start preparing right away, especially during busy hours.

How the automation runs

The order arrives, and it is already accepted.

When

A new order arrives

A customer places an order and it reaches the business as pending, waiting for acceptance.

Then

  1. Ordering.co accepts it

The order moves out of pending automatically, with no one on your team pressing Accept.

  2. Your team starts preparing

Staff focus on preparation and the customer instead of repeating the same step for every order.

  3. The rest of the flow continues

Driver assignment, notifications, and payments keep following their own settings in Ordering.co.

Less tapping, more preparing

Accepting orders by hand is the same step, repeated over and over. Auto-accept takes it off your team:

  • Fewer waiting orders. New orders move out of pending without someone pressing Accept.
  • Focus where it counts. Your team spends busy hours preparing orders and serving customers.
  • Consistent first step. Acceptance no longer depends on who is on shift.

What you need

  • The Auto-accept Order plugin, installed and enabled from Plugins in the Dashboard.
  • An API key from Developers > API Keys, entered in Plugin settings > Plugin Auto-accept Order setting.
  • A way to watch exceptions. Keep an eye on Orders for anything unusual, since auto-accept is not a replacement for checking an uncertain order.

The automatic order acceptance guide walks through each screen.

Works with the rest of your operation

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What does auto-accept do?

When a new order arrives as pending, Ordering.co accepts it for the business automatically, so your team does not have to review and accept each order by hand.

When is it most useful?

During busy periods, when your team should focus on preparation and customers instead of repeating the same acceptance step for every order.

Does it assign a driver or charge the customer?

No. Auto-accept only handles acceptance. Driver assignment, customer notifications, and payments follow their own settings in Ordering.co.

Can my team still accept or reject orders manually?

Businesses can still accept or reject pending orders in their own workflow.

How do I keep the API key safe?

Treat it as a credential. Enter it only in the Dashboard, never in screenshots, tickets, or shared documents.
