How a delivery moves

  1. When the order is placed, Ordering.co creates the delivery in Yango Delivery with the pickup and drop-off details and the order items.
  2. If Yango asks for the delivery to be confirmed, Ordering.co confirms it automatically.
  3. Yango Delivery sends status updates as a courier is assigned, arrives at your store, picks up the order, arrives at the customer, and delivers. The courier’s name appears with the order.
  4. Proof-of-delivery photos are added to the order. If the order is canceled in Ordering.co while Yango still allows a free cancellation, the delivery is canceled in Yango Delivery.

Set up and go live

  1. Get an API token from your Yango Delivery business account. Yango’s API quickstart explains how.
  2. In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Plugin settings and select Yango Delivery Integration. Enter the API Token, and the (Sandbox) API Token for testing.
  3. Review the Yango Delivery delivery company and its driver group so they include the stores that should dispatch to Yango.
  4. Run test deliveries in sandbox mode, then set Sandbox Mode to No to go live.

    In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Plugin settings, select Yango Delivery Integration, and enter the API token from your Yango Delivery business account, with a separate token for sandbox.

    The integration adds Yango Delivery as a delivery company with a driver group for your enabled stores. Adjust it to match the stores that should dispatch to Yango.

    Test in sandbox, then go live

    Run test deliveries in sandbox mode, then switch sandbox off to use your production token.

How does an order reach Yango Delivery?

When the order is placed, Ordering.co creates the delivery in Yango Delivery with the pickup and drop-off details and the order items. If Yango asks for the delivery to be confirmed, Ordering.co confirms it automatically.

What does my team see as the delivery moves?

The order status follows Yango's updates, from courier assigned to arrival at your store, pickup, arrival at the customer, and delivered. The courier's name appears with the order.

Do I get proof of delivery?

Yes. When Yango Delivery completes or returns a delivery, its proof-of-delivery photos are added to the order as messages.

What happens if an order is canceled?

While Yango Delivery still allows a free cancellation, canceling the order in Ordering.co cancels the Yango delivery too.
