How a delivery moves
- While the customer builds the cart, Ordering.co requests an estimate from PedidosYa for the delivery address.
- When the order is placed, the shipping is created in PedidosYa with your store as the pickup and the customer as the drop-off.
- PedidosYa sends status updates as it finds a rider, the rider heads to your store, nears pickup, picks up the order, nears the customer, and delivers.
- The rider’s name appears with the order once one is assigned. If the order is canceled in Ordering.co while PedidosYa still accepts it, the shipping is canceled in PedidosYa.
Set up and go live
- Generate a PedidosYa Courier API token as described in PedidosYa’s first steps guide.
- In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Plugin settings and select PedidosYa Delivery Integration. Enter the API Token, and the (Sandbox) API Token for testing. Saving a token registers the shipping-status webhook for that environment.
- Choose your options: add PedidosYa’s delivery fee, accept cash orders, and set the default package weight and volume. Stores can override the token, sandbox mode, cash, and package settings.
- Run test deliveries in sandbox mode, then set Sandbox Mode to No to go live.

Connect your PedidosYa Courier account and start dispatching.
- 01Add your PedidosYa Courier token
In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Plugin settings, select PedidosYa Delivery Integration, and enter the API token from the PedidosYa developers portal, with a separate token for sandbox.
- 02Status updates register themselves
Saving a token registers the PedidosYa shipping-status webhook for that environment, so no setup is needed on the PedidosYa side.
- 03Test in sandbox, then go live
Run test deliveries in sandbox mode, then switch to your production token.

Is PedidosYa Courier the same as the PedidosYa marketplace?
No. PedidosYa Courier uses PedidosYa's logistics network to deliver orders your customers place on your own website, app, or kiosk. The PedidosYa marketplace is where customers order inside the PedidosYa app.
How is the delivery fee calculated?
Ordering.co requests an estimate from PedidosYa for the customer's address while the cart is being built and uses the lowest delivery offer. You can add that fee to the order.
Can couriers collect cash?
Yes, when cash collection is enabled on your PedidosYa account. Turn on cash orders and Ordering.co sends the amount to collect at drop-off.
What does my team see as the delivery moves?
The order status follows PedidosYa's updates, from finding a rider to heading to your store, near pickup, picked up, near the customer, and delivered. The rider's name appears with the order once one is assigned.
What happens if an order is canceled?
While PedidosYa still accepts the cancellation, canceling the order in Ordering.co cancels the PedidosYa shipping.
Can each store use different settings?
Yes. Each store can use its own token, sandbox or production mode, cash setting, and default package weight and volume.
