- In your Mapbox account, create an access token for your ordering platform.
- In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Settings > Maps.
- Set Use Google Maps Alternative to Yes.
- Paste the token into Enter Map Box Token and save.
- Open your website and apps and check that maps load as expected.

What does Mapbox do in Ordering.co?
Mapbox is the alternative to Google Maps for your platform. When you turn on the alternative and add your Mapbox token, Google Maps is disabled and the alternative map provider is used instead.
How do I switch from Google Maps to Mapbox?
In Settings > Maps, set Use Google Maps Alternative to Yes and paste your token into Enter Map Box Token, then save.
Can I go back to Google Maps?
Yes. Set Use Google Maps Alternative to No and add your Google Maps API key in the same Maps settings.
Whose Mapbox account is used?
Yours. You create the token in your own Mapbox account, and your usage falls under your own agreement with Mapbox.
How do I keep my token safe?
Treat it as a credential. Enter it only in the Dashboard, never in screenshots, tickets, or shared documents, and rotate it in your Mapbox account if it is exposed.
