- When the order is placed, Ordering.co creates a courier order in Llamafood for the business’s branch.
- Llamafood looks for a driver, and the order status in Ordering.co shows it.
- Llamafood sends status updates as the driver accepts, arrives at your store, picks up the order, arrives at the customer, and delivers.
- If the order is canceled in Ordering.co, the courier order is canceled in Llamafood.
Set up and go live
- In Llamafood, open Developer mode > API Keys and generate an API key.
- In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open Plugin settings and select the Llamafood integration. Enter the API key, with a separate key for sandbox if you test there.
- Set the Llamafood Branch ID for each business. The global value applies to businesses without their own.
- In Llamafood, create the courier order status webhook pointing to your project’s Ordering.co callback, and enter the webhook secret Llamafood gives you in the Webhook Secret setting.
- Place a test order, then turn sandbox off to go live.

In Llamafood, open Developer mode > API Keys and generate a key. Enter it in the Ordering.co Dashboard under Plugin settings for the Llamafood integration.

Is this the Llamafood app?
No. This integration uses Llamafood's courier service, which delivers orders your customers place on your own website, app, or kiosk. The Llamafood app is where customers order inside Llamafood.
When is the Llamafood courier requested?
When the order is placed. Ordering.co creates the courier order with the customer's address and location, phone, address reference, order notes, items, order value, and delivery fee. The order's preparation time tells Llamafood when the courier should arrive.
What does the customer see after ordering?
The order status follows the courier, from looking for a driver to the driver accepting, arriving at your store, picking up, arriving at the customer, and delivering.
What happens if an order is canceled?
Canceling the order in Ordering.co cancels the Llamafood courier order.
Can each store use its own Llamafood branch?
Yes. Each business has its own Llamafood branch ID, and a default applies to businesses without one.
Can I combine Llamafood with my own drivers?
Yes. Llamafood works alongside other delivery companies and your in-house drivers, so each store can use the delivery option that fits it.
