Why use Yappy with Ordering.co

Set up and go live

Open a Yappy Comercial account. Yappy lists what you need on its requirements page.
Ordering.co installs the Yappy integration on your project and gives you the domain to register with Yappy.
In Yappy Comercial, sign in as an administrator, go to Products > Botón de Pago, create a payment button with that domain, and generate the secret key.
In the Ordering.co Dashboard, add the merchant ID and secret key to Yappy for each business that should offer it.
Test the flow in Yappy’s test environment, then switch to live mode.

If you generate new credentials in Yappy Comercial, update them in the Dashboard. Keep the secret key private and enter it only in the Dashboard, never in emails, tickets, or shared documents.

How it works

Customers pay from their phone, and the order follows the payment.

The customer chooses Yappy
At checkout, the customer selects Yappy and opens a payment page with the Yappy button for the order total.

The customer approves in the Yappy app
Yappy sends the payment request to the customer's phone, where they approve it in the Yappy app.

Yappy confirms, the order is placed
Yappy notifies Ordering.co of the result. A confirmed payment places the order; a rejected, canceled, or expired one does not.

How do customers pay with Yappy?

At checkout they choose Yappy and press the Yappy button on the payment page. Yappy sends the payment request to their phone, and they approve it in the Yappy app.

When is the order placed?

Only after Yappy confirms the payment. If the customer rejects the request, cancels it, or lets it expire, the order is not placed.

In which countries can I use Yappy?

Yappy Comercial is for businesses that operate and are domiciled in Panama, as listed on this page. Yappy approves each merchant account.

What currency are Yappy payments in?

Yappy payments are charged in US dollars.

Who owns the Yappy account and receives the funds?

You do. Payments go to your Yappy Comercial account, and Yappy deposits them under your Yappy Comercial terms.
