Currencies and payouts
Orders are charged in your business’s currency when it is one of NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, USD, or XOF and it is enabled on your Paystack account. Paystack settles international payments in your local currency by default, and offers USD acceptance and payouts to eligible businesses in Nigeria and Kenya. Processing fees
Paystack deducts its fees from each transaction and pays out the rest to your account. Fees depend on your business country and where the customer pays. See Paystack’s transaction pricing.
Set up and go live
The Ordering.co Paystack setup guide walks through every step:
- Install the Paystack plugin on your project. Some projects already have it installed by the Ordering.co team.
- In the Paystack Dashboard, open Settings > API Keys & Webhooks, switch to Test Mode, and add the Ordering.co webhook URL for your project.
- In the Ordering.co Dashboard, open the business’s Payment methods, select Paystack, and enter your test public and secret keys with Sandbox Mode selected.
- Choose the channels and order types that should offer Paystack, enable it, and save.
- Place test orders in Paystack Test Mode.
- When Paystack has activated your business, clear Sandbox Mode and enter your live keys.
Keep secret keys private. Enter them only in the Dashboard, never in emails, tickets, or shared documents.

What payment methods can customers use?
Customers see the payment channels your Paystack account offers. Paystack supports cards, plus local options that depend on your country, such as M-Pesa in Kenya, Mobile Money in Ghana, and EFT in South Africa.
Which currencies can I charge in?
The Ordering.co Paystack integration charges in Nigerian naira (NGN), Ghanaian cedi (GHS), Kenyan shilling (KES), South African rand (ZAR), US dollar (USD), and West African CFA franc (XOF). The currency must also be enabled on your Paystack account; Paystack offers USD to eligible businesses in Nigeria and Kenya.
In which countries can I use Paystack?
You need a Paystack account for a business registered in one of the countries listed on this page. Paystack reviews each business before it can accept live payments.
