Cancellations and refunds

## What you can do

- ### Reject an order

Mark an order Rejected by admin from the order status selector's Cancelled group.

- ### Other cancellation outcomes

The same Cancelled group covers rejection by a business or a driver, cancellation by the customer, pickup failed, delivery failed, and not picked by customer.

- ### Refund to Cash Wallet or points

Refund a canceled order to the customer's Cash Wallet or points, in full or for an amount, with a comment.

- ### Refund to the original card

Refund a payment back to the original card through Stripe Connect, alongside recurring payments and transaction history.

- ### Choose your refund destinations

Refund Settings lets you allow Cash Wallet, Points Wallet, Stripe, or another payment method as a refund destination.

- ### Order not ready when the driver arrives

Mark an order Order not ready, a status between the business accepting it and the driver's next pickup step, so your team can act before it's picked up.

Dashboard

## Reject an order, or let another cancellation reach it.

An order can be cancelled from several directions. As an administrator, you reject it from its status selector; the business, the driver, and the customer have their own cancellation outcomes.

- Select Rejected by admin from the order status selector's Cancelled group to cancel an order as an administrator
- The same Cancelled group also covers rejection by a business or a driver, cancellation by the customer, pickup failed, delivery failed, and not picked by customer
- Confirm the order number, customer, and current status before you change it
- Refunding an order is a separate action from changing its status

Dashboard

## Refund a canceled order to the destination you choose.

From the order's details, refund to the customer's Cash Wallet, points, or another configured destination, for the full amount or an amount you set.

- Open the canceled order's details and select Refund to Wallet
- Choose a full refund or enter an amount, and add a comment
- Refund Settings lets you allow Cash Wallet, Points Wallet, Stripe, or another payment method as a refund destination
- A canceled order can also be refunded to the customer's points, from the points wallet settings
- Stripe Connect refunds a payment back to the original card, alongside recurring payments and transaction history

Merchant app and Driver app

## Handle an order that isn't ready when the driver arrives.

An order can be marked Order not ready between the business accepting it and the driver's next pickup step, so your team and the driver both see it.

- Order not ready sits in the In progress group, between the business accepting the order and the driver's next pickup step
- The status keeps the order visible to your team and the driver instead of leaving it unresolved
- Use it to handle orders that are not ready when the driver arrives, without cancelling them

How it works

## From setup to the next order.

1. 01**Open the order**

Confirm the order number, customer, and current status before you change it.

2. 02**Cancel if needed**

Select Rejected by admin in the Cancelled group of the order status selector.

3. 03**Refund separately**

Open Refund to Wallet in the order details, choose a full or amount-based refund, and add a comment.

## Good to know

- Refunding an order is a separate action from changing its status; cancelling an order does not refund it automatically.
- Rejected by admin is one outcome in the Cancelled group; rejection by a business or driver, and cancellation by the customer, follow their own workflows.
- Which refund destinations you can choose depend on your project's Refund Settings and the order's payment method.
