# Ordering.co vs Zuppler

Zuppler offers restaurant website ordering, branded websites and mobile apps, menu and order management, marketing, and delivery connections. Ordering.co connects branded customer channels with merchant operations, your drivers or supported delivery providers, and developer options. Compare how one restaurant’s menu reaches each channel, how a paid order arrives at the POS, and who handles the delivery, refund, and customer relationship.

## Why restaurants evaluate Ordering.co alongside Zuppler

Bring the channel, store, and delivery requirements you need your own team to operate.

- ### Connect channels to one catalog

Use web, branded apps, kiosk, phone-agent, and AI ordering channels on the same ordering foundation. Choose the surfaces your staff can support and test their menus together.

- ### Connect merchant and driver work

Follow preparation through assignment, tracking, and proof of delivery. Agree where your own fleet fits and where a connected courier provider handles the order.

- ### Build on the frontend you operate

Use APIs, webhooks, and included open-source frontend code to develop the customer and operational experience. Define implementation and support ownership for each connection.

## Compare the work each platform must do

Both products provide restaurant ordering and connected services. A partner listing does not establish every feature, region, or contract; not listed refers to the supplied workflow in the cited Zuppler offering.

“Not listed” means the capability does not appear in Zuppler's product lineup. Confirm scope and terms with each provider.

## Scope and costs to settle before choosing

Product and partner scope checked October 21, 2026. Compare the same stores, channels, order volume, and fulfillment model.

- ### Ask for a current complete proposal

Request Zuppler’s current agreement for ordering, website or app work, POS connection, delivery, marketing, setup, and support. Identify who pays each charge, including processing and per-delivery costs where applicable. Do not treat an older promotion or an unspecified fee as the price of your deployment.

- ### Prove the menu and POS handoff

Test a required modifier, unavailable item, promotion, scheduled pickup, paid cancellation, and refund. Name the system that controls price and availability and the team that handles failed order delivery to the POS.

- ### Separate delivery service from operating a fleet

A delivery partner can add dispatch and courier services under its own agreement. If you employ drivers, demonstrate their app, shift availability, delivery proof, and support workflow separately; do not infer those details from a general integration listing.

## Proven with enterprise brands.

The platform you would run on already runs ordering for Alsea, a multi-brand restaurant group with more than 4,000 locations.

[Alsea runs WOW+ and ten restaurant brands on one ordering platform.Domino's, Starbucks, Burger King, Vips, and six more brands share one app, one website, call centers, and a delivery operation that assigns drivers automatically.**10** brands on WOW+**4,262** locationsMexico and ColombiaRead the Alsea story](https://www.ordering.co/customers/alsea/)

## Move one restaurant after testing the full order

Keep the current channel taking orders while staff accept the new menu, POS, payment, and delivery workflow.

### What moves

- #### Menus, locations, and channels

Map products, categories, modifiers, taxes, promotions, hours, service areas, and pickup promises. Inventory website embeds, order links, and app listings before deciding what changes.

- #### Customer records and consent

Request exports your contract permits, validate sample fields, and preserve marketing consent and retention rules. Confirm loyalty and gift-card obligations; passwords, saved cards, and app reviews need separate treatment.

- #### Accounts and unsettled orders

Record POS, payment, delivery, domain, and developer accounts. Reconcile open orders, refunds, partner fees, and the final billing period before ending any service.

### How the move runs

1. #### Rebuild a representative menu

Load real required options, an unavailable product, taxes, and service hours. Agree menu ownership and train staff on incoming orders.

2. #### Test every fulfillment path

Place pickup and delivery orders through the chosen channels, verify POS receipt and status, and test driver or partner handoff and customer tracking.

3. #### Reconcile an exception before moving traffic

Cancel and refund a paid order, simulate a failed POS handoff, and verify all financial records. Change links or apps only after staff accept the workflow, with prior-order access retained.

This is a migration plan to scope, not an automatic Zuppler import or an inferred Zuppler-to-Ordering.co connection. Data rights, connector availability, provider accounts, and app-store approval determine what can move.

## Questions about Zuppler and Ordering.co

Does Zuppler only supply a website order button?

No. Its current offering includes branded sites and apps, menu and order tools, marketing, delivery connections, and marketplace options. Compare the scope your restaurant actually subscribes to and operates.

Can we keep the same POS and delivery providers?

Confirm the supported connection, accounts, fees, and workflow for each provider. A provider appearing in both product directories does not guarantee that identifiers, modifiers, payments, refunds, and status mapping transfer unchanged.

Will all customer data and loyalty move automatically?

Do not assume that. Validate allowed exports, consent, customer identifiers, balances, and outstanding obligations with a sample migration. Confirm separately how passwords, stored payments, loyalty, and gift cards will be handled.
